Democratic Coalition
of Ocean County

The Democratic Coalition of Ocean County is a group of active and enthusiastic Democrats in Ocean County, New Jersey. For too long Democrats in Ocean County have been absent or largely silent from local political races, believing that we can’t win over the Republican majority. The group believes this is not a true picture of the strength of Democratic voters in the county. The DCOC has been created in an effort to identify, motivate and engage local Democrats. The founders envision a dynamic and vigorous group that will help to identify and support local Democratic candidates in future elections. Employing a strategy of ongoing fundraising and community outreach, while supporting issues based on commonly held democratic values, the group believes it will change the political landscape in Ocean County and lead a Democratic renaissance. Membership in the group is open to any registered Democrat in Ocean County. Annual dues are $25 and potential members can sign up by following the link below. Meetings will be held on the last Thursday of each month at various locations around the county.
